Jack of all Trades -- thats me :)

Yes that's me. I am Jack of many trades wouldn't say Master of none, because in a couple of trades I did get a proof that I have mastered that particular art.

In my short journey, I have experimented with different professions  that I was interested in like  anchoring events and shows, news reporting, modeling, acting in television shows, auditioned for a reality show(Roadies) and for a South Indian movie, tutoring, teaching and counseling.  I will be  sharing these details with you in the days to come.

My role in some professions has been short lived, some for just few days and others for a couple of months. I have learned from each experience, I have not mastered them all, but the experience has enriched my life and made me the person I am today.

Honestly, being aware of facts, knowing what to expect doesn't mean you are not going to be shocked when you experience it first hand. I have questioned my moral values many a times. There were few instances when I gave up what I always wanted to do because of sheer society pressure. Sometimes  there was a lack of  emotional support.

Looking back, I might regret not being strong at that moment, and letting the opportunity pass. But I can proudly say " I tried", and will "Keep Trying". Being a "Jack of all trades, Master of None", isn't that bad as they say it is !

  11. Its pretty interesting to note that most of us readers are more stumped by the fact that you auditioned for Roadies :) than anything else. But in reality, there is no harm in being a jack of all trades and a certificate master of a few. Do what the heart pleases and every day is a day to learn new things

  12. I think it is nicer to know lots about a lot of things than focus on just the one thing - Ananya. :) Gives one a broader view of life and better perspective. So - you are perfect as you are! Hugs!

  14. Now that's good to know! You have been a news reporter too. I remember when I was a little girl (that was very, very long ago:) I used to think that I would like to be an English news reader (this was during the Doordarshan days and news was a serious business back then, unlike today when it is more entertainment than anything else). Well, that goal went away and others took its place with time. It is really good that you tried several things. It adds much richness to life and personality, so good for you! Keep at it...

  28. being versatile is useful in today's world. careers that existed no longer do and only last a decade anyway before jobs that don't exist now will so you are the right kind of person to face the future flexibly. Besides, life is meant to be experienced not trudged through. :)
