Kainotophobia

The only constant in my life has been 'CHANGE', sometimes good otherwise not so good. I never say worst, because I firmly believe "This is not the Worst that can happen", or maybe its one of my survival tactics.

I have changed so much over the last 5 years, that I feel I am altogether a new person. Strangely, I  sometimes cannot relate to the old me.

Once change becomes a constant , you no longer succumb to Kainotophobia- a fear of change. The word kainotophobia is a noun (a person, place, thing or idea) that means 'the fear of change'.

These days I accept change easily without rebelling against it.
Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future. As I have often heard  "The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance."

Few days I feel numb, due to the absence of fear. Sometimes its good to feel fear inside you, it makes you feel alive. But anything thats frequent, you start getting used to it and eventually over the years it becomes a normal routine of your life. 'Change' is no more a variable, for me its a Constant.

I have begun to practice "Change your thoughts and you change your world."

  10. Well said, change is the only constant. So accepting change is a good thing and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything!

  15. Yes, I think I do suffer from Kainotophobia (Did I spell it right?). Whenever there is a change, I try to rebel against it try to protest but in the end I get adjusted to it. The thing is for me change always indicates that my life needs to be re-arranged again and that itself is enough to bog me down!

  25. Something my father-in-law said ti me years ago carries a great impact and basically what he was saying it --"Don't worry do much!" He said -- "There is one thing that is absolute in this life and that is -- IF THINGS DON'T CHANGE, THEY WILL STAY THE SAME!"
